Conference venue
The ELF3conference will be held at the University of Vienna, Campus Altes AKH.
Address: Spitalgasse 2, 1090 Wien
(entrances located at: Spitalgasse, Alser Straße, Garnisongasse)
Registration, colloquia and coffee breaks will take place at the English Department, Hof 8.
Plenaries will take place in the lecture hall C2, Hof 2.
Lunch on Sunday and Monday will be at the Unibräu, Hof 1.
The Conference Dinner and Party will take place at Albert-Schweitzer-Haus, Schwarzspanierstrasse 13 (just outside the campus).
The Campus is easily accessible by public transport:
U2 to 'Schottentor': take the exit 'Währingerstraße', then walk up Währingerstraße (opposite direction from the Ringstraße) to Schwarzspanierstraße, turn left, walk to the corner of Garnisongasse, turn right, the Campus will come up on your left.
Tram lines 37, 38, 40, 41, 42 to 'Schwarzspanierstraße': walk up Schwarzspanierstraße to the corner of Garnisongasse, turn right, the Campus will come up on your left.
Tram lines 5, 33, 43, 44 to 'Lange Gasse': The Campus is located at the corner of Alser Straße and Spitalgasse.
The Mayor's Reception on Saturday will take place at the Vienna town hall - here's a map showing the location.
